Livi Jam '09

Sorry for the short notice but the BMX livi jam is this weekend and it is being held by the one and only DSAB. Get down there for some wild scenes no doubt. Here's a rough run down of the days events and festivities:
12noon - Pump up the music and get started
1pm - Bars Backwards is Back!(wards) - Such fun last year and I think the best is yet to come. 20 min jam sesh, best trick, handlebars must be backwards.
2pm - Best Trick out the 'One Footer' - Go to between 2.20 and 2.30 in the promo vid to see the 'ramp' i'm referring to. difficult.
3pm - The dsab doubles Livi Lackey Tournament - Yet more tag team fun to be had. This comp was such a laugh at King of the Coats that it had to be added to Livi. 2 riders (or more) pulling the best doubles/tag team/bike swap/whatever moves. 20/30 min jam.
4pm - The Tank and Yank High and Long Jumpathon - Out of the main flatbank facing the bowls, high and long jump combined.
6pm - Walla Death Session - Oh ee oh ah ah, ting tang, walla walla death wall.
8pm(ish) - Prize Giving + world record attempt at Longest Livi Bike train ever...maybe.

Opening Friday 7 August 6 - 8pm @ Peacock Visual Arts. All welcome!
A showcase of vibrant new prints by the the local artist produced during his one-year residency in the printmaking department at Gray's School of Art. Rooted in drawing, the colourful works are playing with the tension between controlled and accidental results of the print and drawing process.
