Stinkin' with Mike Hughes

Price changes effective from January 2nd 2011

Transition Extreme are introducing an updated price structure for 2011 to mirror the VAT increase and aid in the sustainability of the Charity.

The prices will come into effect from the 2nd of January and include some changes to membership types and admission categories.  New price lists will be available at reception and on the website from the 2nd of January.

As always we look to offer promotions on various events, memberships and courses throughout the year but making the most of the membership pass system will definitely save you some of that hard earned cash!

Here's some pictures i snapped of folk riding the skatepark recently. It's always good seeing some shots from around TX, so if you've got any snaps from around TX; be it climbing wall, skatepark, b-ball court or anywhere send them our way and we'll do our best to put all of them up on the Blog. Friday, 5 November 2010

Our good mate Rab Milne is making a decent name for himself these days by almost killing himself on crazy drop ins. We all remember the day he tried to noseblunt drop the wave wall and ended up in Hospital. His latest stunt was published in Kingpin and the sequence is not for the faint hearted.

What is your video camera of choice?

Defgrip is a BMX run site but covers "art&culture" too i guess. So perhaps some folk aren't familiar with the site. Today they put up this interesting article about what video camera's the "pro's" use and why. There is a wide range of camera's in there. From classic VX1's to the new(ish) 7D's. Deff worth checking...

Keddie and Leith

Leith just made this BMX edit of himself and Keddie which i spotted on the blog over at 20twenty. So many tricks going on it's worth watching twice. According to 20twenty Neil and his wife are off to South Korea for a 2 year work placement! Exciting stuff. All the best to them from all at TX.

The guys at Kaplank Kapow, in association with Boarderline and 20Twenty, are putting on "an exhibition of of skateboards designed and shaped by local skateboarders..."
Sounds good to me. Get involved!

Twenty20 Goes Big

20Twenty 2010 BMX Jam. from Alex D on Vimeo.

20Twenty BMX holds its 3rd Annual Jam at TX and it went Ballistic. So many bangers being thrown down it was impossible to see it all. Thankfully Alex at Nearly BMX filmed most of them and made a nice wee video...enjoy.

Y-es Boss

Big thanks to all the staff and volunteers that helped to make TX look so good for the Es demo last week. The Pros went off, especially UK team member Ben Raemers who sacrificed his hip for the throwdown.

Heres some pics taken by Callum Barrack and Ryan Slater, keep checking for updates on the rest of the tour.
