Something a bit different in the park next week. ROCK AND ROLL!

We are playing host to 6 local metal bands who will be playing out to the park during the 6-10 session on Thursday the 15th. We will set aside some room in the park for non-skating/riding spectators and entry to the spectator area will be £3.00

Predatory Bud Competition

If you haven't been keeping up with the updates over on John Rattray's weird and wonderful blog "The Predatory Bird" then you definitely should.  Have a look at the competition they are running just now to win yourself a pair of headphones with the exclusive Predatory Bird colourway...and a bunch of other stuff.

BSD Tour

Last summer the BSD team came to Aberdeen as part of their "30% chance of sun" Tour.  They did a shop signing at our friends at 20Twenty then came and ripped the park up and got the kids super stoked.

Looks like our mate Ross Armstrong may be riding for them one day by the looks of it, that 720 was wild!

Halloween Happenings

Got any plans for Halloween? Make sure you check the Halloween lock-ins where you can get in for half price if your wearing fancy dress (just wearing a mask doesnt count!)

Locked-tober!

Due to popular demand the Lock-In sessions have doubled. We're now providing discipline specific sessions on the first and last week of the month. Ah Yeah!

Lock-Ins are Back

Next week the lock ins make a return to TX. A decent amount of cash has been raised so far and set aside for park developments which are scheduled to kick off in the new year. In the meantime we will be continuing the monthly lock-ins to raise even more cash and to get input and feedback on how the park should change.

Freebie!

On Saturday the 29th of this month we are running FREE sessions on all of our outdoor activities. Free tasters on the TX high ropes course and free sessions on the TX Dirt Track. The graffiti wall will be whitewashed and we're encouraging all graffiti artists to come and paint. Expect Time-Trials on the track, mini-comps and other surprises on the day. If you've seen our outdoor stuff and haven't had a shot yet, this is your chance to try it out for (did I mention?)FREE!

On the 28th of this Month TX skatepark will be host to some special guests.
Get you and your BMX down to Transition for 7 o'clock to ride with the Seventies BMX team.

Back To School Event - change of date -

Due to some unforeseen circumstances we have moved the date of the Back To School Jam to Saturday the 25th of August. Registration begins from 5 o'clock so make sure you're there nice and early. Same format as the Schools Oot Jam. Prizes galore for young Skateboard, Inline and BMX rippers!

Extreme Summer Event

The extreme summer program is drawing to an end. It's been a great few months with loads of kids coming to our free coaching sessions out at Torry, Northfield and Westburn. As a thank you to everyone, we will be holding a round-up event this coming Saturday where the skatepark has been booked out for a private session where everyone who has been involved in the program can come along, have a skate and something to munch.

Only one week left till TX plays host to the biggest day of BMX action this park has ever seen! If you ride a BMX you NEED to be around for this, no excuses. If the Cult Jam was anything to go by this will be one to be remembered!

SkoolzOot Results

Skoolz Oot!

Its that time of year again. Schools out after this week and to celebrate the beginning of the holidays we will be holding a Jam for everyone on Saturday the 7th of July.

The Skoolz-Oot Jam is for all ages and disciplines, whether you skate, blade or ride a BMX you can get involved and win some goodies.

Go Skate Day Results!

This years GoSkateDay event was a banger! TX would like to say a big thank you to all those who came along for the shred and to Boarderline and TheRadLife for donating some brilliant prizes for the Jam.

Everyone ripped but it has to be said that Stonehaven showed up and shut it down. Big ups to the Stonehaven scene!
